The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Bristol has honoured Minuteman Press to create the 2008 Lord Mayor’s Christmas card.

The Lord Mayor will personally sign each of the 1,000 Christmas cards, which will be dispatched to the great and good of Bristol.

Each hand-finished card will feature a full colour depiction of St Mark’s Church on a snowy day, created by John F Palmer RWA, a Bristol artist and member of Bristol Savages. St Mark’s is more often known as the Lord Mayor’s Chapel, the only municipally-owned church in England. Inside the card will be printed the Lord Mayor’s crest and a Christmas message.

Minuteman Press Bristol director Peter Wise said: “We are delighted and more than proud to have been chosen to produce the Lord Mayor’s Christmas cards this year. The Lord Mayor Christopher Davies has given so much value to Bristol and brought significant business to the city.”
