Paper and envelope sizes

The paper size tables listed below have been included as a useful ready reference. All measurements shown are in millimetres.

 

ISO 216 paper sizes

ISO216 is the standard which defines commonly available paper sizes. The base format is a sheet of paper measuring 1m² in area. Successive paper sizes are defined by halving the preceding paper size parallel to its shorter side. The 'A' series has been detailed below.

ISO 217 paper sizes

ISO217 defines the 'SRA' series. SRA is the abbreviation of Supplementary Raw Format A. SRA after printing and binding are cut to match the ISO216 A format. SRA paper is typically used in printing where a bleed to the edge of the page is required.
